EstateInventor staging model
The staging model behind EstateInventor. It runs in the cloud, starts free, and rides the open-model curve instead of freezing.
01 / Architecture
How it works
EstateInventor runs an open-weight image editing model on our own GPUs. A photo goes up, the model performs the requested edit under a geometry lock that holds the walls, windows, and proportions in place, and the result comes back at the same dimensions it went in. You reach it from any browser, with nothing to install, and your first 10 images each month are free.
# every edit, same room, start to finish listing.jpg → [ our model · geometry-locked ] → edited.jpg same dimensions walls and windows fixed only the furniture changes
02 / Capabilities
Capabilities
- Virtual staging
- Furnishes an empty room with size-appropriate furniture.
- Virtual restaging
- Replaces existing furnishings with a different style.
- Remove furniture
- Returns a furnished room to an empty state.
- Remove clutter
- Removes small distracting objects while preserving the room.
- Interior touch-up
- Corrects lighting and verticals, cleans minor flaws.
- Redesign exterior
- Adjusts sky, foliage, and curb without altering structure.
Each runs as a separate pass. They can be chained on a single image.
03 / Longevity
Why it stays great
Open-weight image editing models are improving faster than any single company could match alone. EstateInventor is built to ride that curve. The model backend is swappable, so when a stronger open model ships, we evaluate it, tune it for staging work, and roll it out to your account. You're not locked to a frozen tool. You're on a moving line.
Three things compound in your favor:
- The field improvesEach new generation of open editing models raises the quality ceiling, and your account inherits it automatically.
- The hardware scalesWe run the model on dedicated GPUs, so edits stay fast as your listings pile up. Nothing is throttled by the device in front of you.
- Nothing is taken awayImprovements reach your account automatically. Lifetime cloud access keeps that going without a recurring bill.
04 / Evaluation
How we evaluate
Staging quality is not a single number. We evaluate edits on three axes: structural fidelity (walls, windows, and fixtures stay put), plausibility (furniture and light read as real), and restraint (the edit does not invent what was never there). [Replace with the actual evaluation set and method once defined.]
05 / Limitations
Limitations and out of scope
- It edits real photographs. It is not a generator for scenes that were never shot.
- It works best on clear, well-framed listing photos. Heavy motion blur, low light, or low resolution limit what it can recover.
- Staged furniture is plausible, not a literal catalog. Use it to show how a space lives, not to promise specific items.
- It is a single-image tool. It does not keep furnishings consistent across an entire photo set yet.
